JENNIFER O'CONNELL: INTERIORS WE CAN ALL RELATE TO Jennifer O’Connell is anything but a stay-at-home reclusive artist, although her paintings are primarily confined to cozy, comfortable interiors with nostalgic lighting and a palette of soothing, but subdued brilliant colors. Her subject is her own environment, which she translates from its reality into compositions of light and color. The furniture, lamps, fabrics, and architectural elements are all there forming a place somehow personal to each viewer. The flowers and plants punctuate the scene with recognizable life.
