For an out-of-town jaunt some weekend between June 26 and August 29, take to the road that Adam Cave Fine Arts and a few other Raleigh Galleries have followed, by invitation,
to exhibit works from their represented artists at the Green Hills Center for North Carolina Art. This show is the first of a series of invitational, regional gallery shows at the Center.

The exhibition series is called “Gallery Nomads”. Adam Cave Fine Art will present a curated collection of paintings, original prints, and photographs by six of the gallery's twenty-one artists, all employing the concept of landscape as their inspiration, most including urban or rural elements.

From the steeplechase races outside of Charlotte to the shrimp boats near Charleston, veteran painter Joseph Cave captures the Carolinas with his lush palette and expressive brushwork. By contrast, young MFA candidate Will Goodyear has painted moody abstract urbanscapes of Raleigh full of texture and layering. Susan Baehmann uses her signature color etching techniques to portray the quiet, intimate landscape of parks, gardens and mountain trails. Fellow Wilmington artist Donald Furst, has created a mysterious series of intaglio prints; night scenes along highway 421 from all across the state. Diana Bloomfield uses a pinhole camera to expose winter kudzu in the middle of the capital city as well as the ageless qualities of the swamps down east. And, in keeping with the summer, Stephen Aubuchon takes us to the outer banks, and, in particular, to Jockey's Ridge where he has choreographed a dancer in a dramatic outdoor setting.

Also participating in this unique group gallery exhibit will be Artspace, Bonded Llama Artist Studios, Design Box Gallery, Flanders Art Gallery and Visual Art Exchange.
