The Enchanted Forest returns to Raleigh, May 20th.

Sculptor Greg Carter will transform portions of the gallery into an imaginative, interactive art installation like nothing you have seen before. Walk amongst his oversized sculptures and lose yourself in an organic environment of pure fantasy. And you won't be alone. For one night only the Enchanted Forest will be populated with models, painted head to toe by Scott Fray and Madelyn Grecco, five-time, world champion body painters. These living, breathing, human works of art are full of surprises, and the natural inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest.

Due to the temporary nature of bodypainting, this is a rare opportunity to not just observe but actuallly step inside a transient work of art. And, when not inside the installation, enjoy music, conversation, food and drink, compliments of the gallery. Then slip back in the forest to enjoy the art some more.

To help create a distraction-free environment where you can really lose yourself, there will be no phone use or photography allowed inside the installation. The entire event will be documented and the resulting book can be ordered now or during the evening. This 32 page, full color catalog will include signatures of the participating models and artists. The models will also be available for photos outside the installation at points throughout the evening.
