.For one month only, Adam Cave Fine Art will be transformed into a forest of giant, colorful, fanciful mixed-media sculptures. Walk amongst these otherworldly, strange-yet-familiar works, the imaginative creations of artist Greg Carter.

ART LIVES: opening celebration for The Enchanted Forest

Saturday, May 30th, 8:00 pm until…

Our unique exhibit opens with a collaborative art experience, part installation, part performance, in which art not only surrounds you, it walks amongst you. Greg Carter is joined by five-time World Champion bodypainters Scott Fray and Madelyn Greco. Their works share Carter’s bold patterning and bright color palette, but also boast life and soul, as they are created on skin, using the human body as canvas. Many things are possible and surprise is expected as the evening gives way to music and perhaps a saucy late-night cabaret.

First Friday Artist Reception

Friday June, 5th, 6:00-9:00 pm

Bring the whole family for the most engaging First Friday experience of the year! Art lovers of all ages will enjoy walking through this surreal fairy tale forest and meeting its creator, Greg Carter. Free.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Saturday, June 6th, 7:00 and 8:30 pm

The Enchanted Forest Installation provides the perfect scenery for this Shakespeare classic. Seed Art Share and Raleigh Little Theatre will perform excerpts from their current run of the play, in a non-traditional format in the gallery. Performances begin at 7:00 and 8:30 and are on-going all evening. Suggested donation of $10 at the door.
